Refugees anxious of peace and tired of being fed, says Ambassador

People outside Juba are fed up of being fed by humanitarian agencies and are hoping to return home to build up their life, discloses, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands to South Sudan.
Janet Alberda vows that their kingdom will continue to support the country to achieve total peace that lead to more opportunities and focus more on building resilience.
The ambassador says South Sudanese IDPs doubt that the eight months of the implementation of the revitalised peace agreement is delaying.
Accountability is an important key to stop impunity in South Sudan and the reports of sexual on gender-based violence is not acceptable, she stresses.
The government and the parties should be committed to address those issues and be more practical, she adds.
The government is not returning back to war and the formation of transitional regime is underway according to the agreement states, but other parties are saying the time given was not enough, says Deng Dau Deng Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The Netherland’s government is conducting various programs in South Sudan such as recovery and resilience with other NGO’s in Yambio and other parts of the country.
The official spoke on Friday during the celebration of the King of Netherland’s Day in Juba.
